Performance

The vehicle’s standard FWD format helps with the fuel economy, but the powertrain is what makes it most economical. Your 2026 Carnival Hybrid comes equipped with a standard 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and a full parallel hybrid system, including a permanent synchronous magnet motor on the front axle. Ultimately, that feature makes 242 combined horsepower and 271 lb.-ft. of combined torque, enough to provide the driver with a 2,500-lb. maximum towing capacity2 when properly equipped.
Technology
Six standard USB ports are posted throughout the 2026 Kia Carnival Hybrid, two for every row. Combined with the standard Wi-Fi Hotspot3, you and your passengers can keep your smartphones charged and connected to the internet while you travel down Bandera Road to I-410. You may check on and influence this MPV without being inside it by subscribing to the standard Kia Connect4 feature, which allows you to make use of the remote start5, climate control features, or find your car in a crowded parking lot. Many of the other facets of this vehicle’s tech will be controlled through the standard 12.3-inch touchscreen display with navigation6, a monitor that can be combined with another 12.3-inch curved instrument display6 to create an extended view of your information and entertainment capabilities.
Interior
The cabin is highly customizable to meet your needs in terms of seating, space, and style. The base LXS trim arrives with standard Off-Black and Taupe Two-Tone SynTex upholstery, but that can be swapped out for various hues of leather trim on the SX and SX Prestige trims. Featuring standard seating for eight passengers, you’ll be glad to have the standard sliding and removable second-row seats, letting you move the chairs to more easily load your passengers in the rearmost bench. Also, bear in mind that the Kia Carnival Hybrid has standard second-row Slide Flex Seating, letting the front passenger bring a chair closer to them so they can care for one of their little ones without having to pull over. The standard 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat acts as your key to comfort by allowing you to find the right position suited to your long-term relaxation.
