The process of changing a flat tire is one that’s worth knowing, as you never know when your vehicle could suffer from this predicament amidst your travels in San Antonio. Essential Tools

In order to conduct a tire change safely and effectively, there are a handful of tools that you’ll need to have in your possession. The items we recommend are a lug wrench, a jack, and a digital tire pressure gauge. Of course, if your vehicle doesn’t already have a spare tire stored in it, then you’ll want to seek that out as well. There are other components that you could invest in as well, but you'll find that these are all you’ll require for a quick and stress-free tire change that you can have completed in just a few minutes before getting back on I-10.

The Tire Removal Process

Here at our Service Department, we always prioritize safety first when it comes to any kind of vehicle repairs or maintenance, and you should uphold this practice as well when changing your Kia model’s flat tire. So, once you’ve become aware of the situation, find a safe place to pull over and turn on your hazard lights. Ideally, you’ll want to find a parking lot or some other space away from a road where traffic is coming and going, though if you can’t then pulling over onto the shoulder is the next best alternative.
